The 2022 American slasher mystery horror movie They/Them is set in a gay conversion camp and features queer empowerment. Kevin Bacon is the star of the Blumhouse Productions movie, which was written and directed by Penny Dreadful series director John Logan. They/Them, featuring Bacon as Owen Whistler, is a slasher horror movie set at an LGBTQIA+ conversion camp. Whistler welcomes a number of queer and trans campers for a week of activities designed to help them find a new feeling of freedom. The campers must cooperate to safeguard themselves as the tactics used by the staff get more psychologically unpleasant.
