Glen is where the story’s action takes place. A snapshot of Fontaine’s average day is shown in the beginning. Fontaine chats with his mother outside her door before obtaining some drinks from a nearby store and heading down to enjoy them with his friend Moss. He talks about the money that Slick Charles owed, which Moss was unable to get back because of some ridiculous situation. Fontaine decides to pop the question. Before going into Slick’s house, he attacks one of his friends. He meets Yo-Yo, a member of the Slick staff, there. As he receives money, Slick condemns Fontaine’s black-on-black crime.
