The Railway Children Return 2022

The Railway Children, a 1970 film that harkens back to simpler times, included TV presenters and a glam rock pop star. It’s time for a belated sequel with The Railway Children Return. Set in 1944, Jenny Agutter has remained in the picturesque Yorkshire community as a grandmotherly Bobbie. Her own son Thomas, whose father is away fighting Germans with the RAF, is with her along with her daughter Annie. However, the family will grow to include Lily, Pattie, and Ted, three Manchester evacuees who are taken under Bobbie & Annie’s wing.
