This gives her the necessary power to control the cosmic energy. Nick dispatches Carol to lead an investigation after an energy spike disrupts the jump point system. But when she engages with the mystery surge, it muddles her light-based talents and connects Captain Marvel to both Kamala, a teenage girl from New Jersey who has the other quantum band, and Monica, an astronaut and the daughter of Carol’s late friend Maria.
