Rosaline is forced to miss a major masquerade event due to a trip failure in the story, but she soon learns that Romeo has rapidly moved his attention to Juliet, who is witnessing her cousin fall for her now-ex-prepared boyfriend’s seduction performance. Rosaline, who is enraged, decides to sabotage this union by attempting to remove Juliet from the picture, but she soon realises that by doing so, she is igniting a conflict between the Montagues and the Capulets.
