An intimate connection between a rock star and a free-spirited lady begins, but it quickly devolves into a world of drug abuse and crime. The movie manages to find a pulse with its doomed romance and rising turpitude at the hands of interesting individuals, even though it doesn’t particularly add to the conversation about drug addiction.
