After Jamis loses the battle against Paul Atreides, Dune: Part Two picks up so soon after the events of the first movie that the Fremen are still transporting his body home. To the dismay of his mother Jessica, Paul decided to travel with the Fremen when House Atreides was destroyed. Assuming that Paul and Jessica have been captured by the desert and are now enraged because they have forced the invaders from Atreides, House Harkonnen intensifies its onslaught on the Fremen.
